Imphal, August 22 (EMN): Manipur government has notified complete ban on the use of plastic carry bags of more than 50 microns in thickness with immediate effect. Any person found using such plastics bags will be punished under Section 15 Environment protection
Act, 1966, according to a release by the Deputy secretary T Manihar Singh of Forest and environment.
