The Trans Himalaya has come down, like never before. Leh is cut off as of now, except for air links. The weather front is large, and has affected all of the Tran Himalaya including the Changthang plains, Rupshu, Kargil and Zanskar regions. Road bridges
have been washed away, people are missing, trekkers and rafters stra...nded, missing hiking groups and the reports are only just coming in. People are camped out on high ground in fear of another flooding. Local people have lost most of what they owned, and
many families affected.
Ladakh needs help, before the winter season sets in. One of the ways you can help is to head there soon as the chaos ends, and pitch in. Even if you go for a holiday, you will help its economy revive appreciably. That is one of the best ways to give back, and
help.
