Comforts and Facilities Offered Food: From lake-side buffets to bar-be-cues, our cooks can offer you finger licking cuisine right on the balcony of your cottage or at the lake-side dining area. Accommodation: Waterbanks Island Resort consists of 15 Cottages. These are fully furnished with an attached toilet with running hot and cold water + 2 tree house accommodation. Obstacle course: Waterbanks offers a full-fledged Obstacle course consisting of the following interesting challenges: Tarzan Swing Spider's web Burma Bridge Barrel Cross Zigzang bars Fiber glass Wall Valley /river crossing with harness Inflatable rock climbing wall Trampolin Catapult This serves as a good activity for Team Building workshops and can be used as an ice-breaker for other training programmes. Artificial Rock Wall We have a state-of-the-art Artificial Rock Wall of 10m height and 3m width made of fibre glass. This can be used to try one's hand at Rock Climbing and Rappelling for that sense of adventure and to test one's physical limits, all managed by trained experts with the best of equipment, with safety being taken care of at every moment. In addition our site has the more serious rock climbing. Recreation facilities: The resort is equipped with Indoor games like chess, carom board, dartboard, pictionary, playing cards and scrabble. The camp has a whole host of Outdoor games like Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton and Table tennis, Golf putting, fishing rods, bamboo rafts and fibre glass boats. The camp provides ample space and opportunity to organize various group games and activities. The lake offers a variety of birds which can be explored on our fibre glass boats or bamboo rafts. Camel ride/Bullock cart ride into the farms and villages around or a trek into the Aravalis or a hot air balloon ride. Can be arranged on request. Conference Facilities: A conference centre of 4000 sq. ft. with seating capacity of 80-100 people is available for conference purposes and the multiple activities like dance, bar and games. Places to Visit Damdama Bird Sanctuary Damdama lake is a natural home for birds. It is spread over 3000 acres. The periphery of the lake is about 12 kms. The area has planted tree species mostly Eucalyptus and Acacia and other species like Azadirachta Indica, Zizyphus/ Spp. Etc. The community of plants in and around the lake provides the nesting facilities to the birds. A large variety of avian visitors come to lake during winter. Owing to agricultural surroundings and freedom from other disturbance, the lake is a resting place for many birds which stay for the night and fly off for feeding to the agricultural fields during the day. More than 190 species of birds, migratory as well as local, visit this lake during winter season (Nov. to Mar.). For several years now the lake has been attracting an outstanding population of water fowl, particularly in winter when their concentration becomes really impressive. About 10,000 ducks can be seen in December to Feb, besides, thousands of water birds and waders, who adopt this lake as their winter home.
